Teaks contain a kind of sediment and oil in its wood cell, so that earn durable used at outdoor place even without varnish; especially when used under the roof.
Teak is used as raw material of shipbuilding since a long time a go, included of 17 century ship of VOC that crossing ocean, also in heavy construction like bridge and base of rail.

Teak exploited as furniture raw material, teak also used in building structure. Traditional house of Java, like house of “joglo” Central Java, using teak in most of all parts: pillar, construct roof, till carved wall.

Now, in wood industry, teak processed to become  venir (veneer)  to arrange in layers face of exclusive plywood;  and also to become parquet (wood tiles). Others, is also exported to foreign countries in the form of outdoors/indoors furniture.
Branch of teak which can't be exploited for the furniture, exploited as first class firewood.  Teak produces high heat, so that is first used as fuel of locomotive.

Requirement of teak over the world, was supplied by Indonesia and Myanmar.
